Le Bánh Mì
Good food.
Good mood.
Food we love.
A place we wanted to create.

How it
all began.
We lived in Asia for several years and travelled widely in Vietnam. There we discovered food we never tire of: generous, varied and full of fresh herbs, with flavours that keep us coming back.
In March 2022, we opened Le Bánh Mì in Eaux-Vives. We wanted to share this food in Geneva, give it a home and invite more people to discover it.
And we already had a favourite: bánh mì. To us, it’s the best sandwich in the world. The crisp bread, the generous filling, the mayonnaise and all those fresh herbs. We love everything about it.

WHAT WE LOVE ON THE PLATE
The crunch.
The herbs.
The sauce.
Le Porc épique is a good example. We cook the pork in a salt crust, then roast it until it’s crisp on the outside and still juicy inside. We add homemade mayonnaise, pickles and plenty of fresh herbs.
That freshness runs through everything we cook. Our sauces are homemade too, with plenty of flavour. The hot sauce has its regulars.
We’re especially happy when a guest tells us our food reminds them of Vietnam.

A place
of our own.
We love design. We wanted a restaurant with a character of its own, where the food and the space tell the same story.
With Youri Kravtchenko and Marion Vergne, the restaurant took shape around three elements inspired by Vietnamese street stalls. Materials, colours, a counter, our red stools. Our little corner of Eaux-Vives.

THE PEOPLE ALONG THE WAY
People.
And ideas.
Since we opened, there’s been the team, the regulars, and first lunches that became a habit. There have also been chefs who joined us to create a sandwich or cook for a few evenings.
Those collaborations are part of our story. They gave us the chance to try other ideas and share them here.
Today, our Vietnamese food is served at lunch and dinner. And bánh mì, as always, at lunchtime.
